About the Position:

We have an immediate opening on our 1st shift for an Entry Level Machine Operator.

1st Shift Hours are 5:30a-4:15p, Monday-Thursday.

Basic Qualifications:

Duties:
- Receive and inspect incoming materials and products
- Verify the accuracy of shipments against purchase orders or invoices

Role & Responsibilities:

• Using PC-DMIS, Microsoft Excel, and Visual Basic, develop new and update current CMM programs for 1st article, in-process, and stock checks of on-site machined automotive parts
• Daily inspection of on-site machined automotive parts. Must be able to do complete inspections and clearly review those results with setup and engineering personnel.
• Work quickly in a fast-paced production environment providing accurate inspections.
• Verify inspection results using alternative inspection procedures as necessary.
• Create and make changes to existing reports for up-to-date customer documentation.
• Assist in the development of new inspection routines and required fixtures from either cad model or blueprint.
• Follow all production documentation (ie. CMM programs, inspection reports, and blueprints) and advise on any changes.

2nd Shift- 3:15p-1:45a- Monday-Thursday

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 2 years CMM PC-DMIS operation and Machine Parts Inspector.
• Knowledge of CMM PC-DMIS operation. Machine parts and surface plate inspection required. Blueprint reading, interpretation and GD&T skills. Accurate use of thread gages, calipers, bore gages, templates and other hand tool mandatory. Computer literate in Microsoft Excel with Visual Basic and SPC a plus. ISO-9000 procedure knowledge is helpful.

The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for the overall Quality Assurance activities to ensure product meets Edelbrock Group expectations. Monitoring performance and administering OEM customers and supplier, following the requirements, procedures and expectations to minimize risks and drive customer satisfaction by managing countermeasures to improve product robustness and appropriate actions where and when necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or 5 years of related experience in manufacturing with advanced technical training

• Minimum 3-5 years of proven progressive experience with automotive OEM (GM, Ford, Lotus) or Tier 1 suppliers

Job description

The Setup Technician – Sets up a wide variety of 3-5 Axis milling centers and manufacturing cells. Works with the crews associated with machining automotive aftermarket components in a fast-paced environment. This includes; reviewing manufacturing documents, setting up and running FAI parts on a variety of machines, tools/tooling properly measured and installed in carousels, part quality standards are met, and of the equipment is maintained to company defined standards and goals. SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
Plans and designs manufacturing processes in the industrial plant. To include casting and gating design for green sand, dry sand, and perm mold foundry processes. The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility/plant equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

Transmission Builder is responsible for performing repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with OEM and/or TCI® standards. Specifically, they will diagnose, disassemble and rebuild RWD transmissions and related components.

1. Diagnose, disassemble and rebuild transmissions and related components on various types of RWD transmissions.
