Material Handler

Hours are 5:00a-3:30p, Monday-Thursday. Fridays as needed.

Role & Responsibilities:

– Operate a forklift to move and stack materials in a safe and efficient manner
– Perform shipping and receiving duties, including loading and unloading trucks
– Use a lift truck to pick orders and prepare them for shipment
– Safely operate a hi-lo or pallet jack to transport materials within the warehouse
– Adhere to all OSHA regulations and safety guidelines while operating the forklift
– Conduct regular inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance or repair needs
– Assist with inventory management by accurately recording stock levels and locations

Requirements:
– Valid forklift operator certification is a plus
– Experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution center setting
– Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
– Basic math skills for inventory management and order picking
– Mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on the forklift
– Familiarity with operating a pallet jack is preferred
